26 Jul Kafe Afrikana does it again!
The opening of Maisha Heights (Kafe Afrikana’s new branch) sent shock waves around Thika town. Not only is it the biggest and best branch yet, but word of their arrival in Thika spread like wildfire! And has hastily become the most popular joint in the area.
So what is it about this particular branch that has everyone buzzing?
The first thing that caught my eye as we drove into Maisha Heights, was an attractive Kafe Afrikana sign plastered on the outside of the glass window. The view just from the outside is captivating enough to draw in passers by from across the street.
The ambiance and atmosphere is impeccable! The aroma of freshly brewed coffee greeted me with mellow tunes in the background and the soft sound of chit chatter; making me feel right at home.
The decor is the definition of elegance! It’s a burst of warm, natural and earthy tones that imparts a level of sophistication that is greatly welcome in Thika.
To top it off is the ample space. Being their biggest branch yet, the restaurant provides a whooping capacity of 75 sitting spaces, enough to host business lunches, romantic dates and even family outings. It doesn’t get better than this!
The rise in popularity of Maisha Heights is greatly attributed to Kafe Afrikana’s decision to introduce a fully functioning and equipped kitchen within the specific branch. This has raised the quality and freshness of food as it is made on the spot. The great food and unique drinks leave the guests with a gastronomical experience suited to an affordable and reasonable budget.
Their happy hour offers have taken the town by storm! Anyone arriving there between 5-8 can expect to be served with the best cocktails in Thika at an insanely affordable price. Their ‘buy two get one’ offers extend to a variety of cocktails that are specific for each day meaning you’ll be treated to a pleasant surprise any time you drop by. However a note of caution, they pack a punch so be sure to leave your car at home before trying them out!
