01 Nov Girl power…
I recently went on a small rant on Instagram and Facebook about the lack of support among women. I slowly started being turned off by the idea of making new girlfriends which affected my networking and personality. I suddenly became closed off, until I realized I was becoming a different person. My personality is pretty loud, open and a tad dramatic. I choose not to shy away because of fear that comes from a few negative and insecure women. On that note, I go over the moon when I meet a young lady who surprises me with warmth and genuinity. I met Lolo Sagini at this year’s Fashion bloggers runway show, and she was a breath of fresh air. With a smile that just melts your heart, she has oozed nothing but positivity and support in just a few weeks of friendship. Her titles are nothing short of amazing; blogger, you-tuber, stylist, model, and journalist to be. Excuse my banality but this girl and I were meant to be.
The first outfit I dressed Lolo in was this beautiful floral off-shoulder number. This is a huge trend that has taken the fashion scene by storm! And is a must have in any fashionista’s closet. The floral pattern on this particular one screams summer and the baby pink color against Lolo’s gorgeous chocolate skin is nothing short of beautiful.
For the second outfit obviously had to be a romper as I’m clearly obsessed. Lolo is a curvy girl, and this romper fit so perfectly and accentuated her features. So the notion that rompers can only be worn by skinny girls is clearly untrue. I also loved the “Old Hollywood” theme she adopted. One word Stunning!
P.s Lolo just joined the Face of Nivea competition so follow her on Instagram @its_lolosagini and Facebook @Lolo Sagini and follow the instructions from her recent posts.
