The runway on water…

I just pulled off my very first Fashion Show and all I feel in my heart is gratitude. When I thought of this idea I did not expect the overwhelming love and support I received. For all the people who attended and volunteered their help, from the bottom of my heart Thank you! I would have not been able to pull this off without you.

The million dollar question is what next?
The Saucy Flair Fashion Show was my debut as a fashion designer. I have decided to focus on dressing for occasions. That means if you’d like to go for a wedding, fashion show, baby shower, graduation party, any form of event, saucy flair got you! Men’s wear is also coming soon!I’ll have pictures of designs on my Instagram page: the saucy shop.

So what did it take to make The Saucy Flair Fashion Show a success?
To be completely honest if I started writing about this I would need to put up around 5 blog posts. However, you need a well-thought-out plan that covers every single detail, partners and to market as though your life depends on it. Another huge factor that can make or break your fashion show is what makes you different. You need to stand out! Make it worthwhile for people who are using their hard earned money to attend your show! We constructed a runway on a pool I still can’t believe it…

Lastly, I would like to thank my biggest cheerleader Tom Mabelle😊, My partner Cynthia Mwara who also has breathtaking designs, Sharlene who did a wonderful job on the makeup! It was subtle and just perfect, Rozzi@work for the amazing entertainment, Kafe Afrikana for the delicious meals and cocktails, our entertaining host Tatiana Kiara,Syrup Photography for covering the event and my two gorgeous ushers Janet and Dikir.

Amidst the hullabaloo, I managed to get just a handful of pictures of me. But stay tuned on my social media, I’ll be posting more as I receive them…
